        Programs FAQ
        • Will my plan change every week?
          Not necessarily. It’s a fact that being on a specific nutrition plan can get tedious at times. This is what you signed up for. There will be times when your progress does not require any changes at the time of check-in. We strive to never allow someone to go more than 2 weeks without an updated plan.
        • When do I get a cheat meal?
          Do not ask about getting a cheat meal. Cheat meals will be incorporated as needed depending on progress, current caloric intake, macronutrient deficiency etc.
        • Do you provide personal training?
          Yes, we provide personal training for local San Diego clients. If needed please direct any requests for our rates regarding personal training to info@syleenfit.com or go to plans
        • What is the best way to contact my Coach?
          Our Head Coach, Syleena Alhomsi is always available via phone/text/email. She prefers text or site messages as the primary method to answer quick questions and you can also voice any concerns at check-in. If you have a question, please ask immediately.
        • Will you provide a training program?
          Yes, however, training and nutrition are separate programs with different prices structures. There is Nutrition + Training combination programs that include both!
        • What happens if I’m not ready by my show date? (For Competitors)
          Our goal is to create winners and hit goal. We will never put someone on stage that we do not feel is ready. If this is your first show, it is entirely possible that we will need longer than I have suggested. Should this happen and it becomes necessary to extend the contest prep there will be no additional charge.
        • Can I switch or change my macros?
          No! Everything on each nutrition plan has been laid out as is for a reason. We expect the plan to be followed perfectly with no deviation. If you do not, you will be doing yourself a disservice and will yield less than optimal results. If there is something you are allergic too or cannot eat, please advise your coach and he will accommodate your request.
        • Will you be at my show and why is there an extra payment that day if you are?
          Our coaches will attend most shows between San Diego, Culver City and Las Vegas. The show day fee is based on the competition city as well as the number of athletes competing. The minimum show day fee is $40. This simply helps cover our expenses such as entry fee, transportation and any peak week aids provided to the competitor.
        • How fast can I expect results?
          This varies from person to person. Unfortunately, it’s not an exact science. Different body types, metabolisms, fitness levels, etc. will affect the speed and effectiveness of the program. We ask that you remain patient and manage your expectations. Someone new to training and fitness will not have the same results as someone that has competed for years. The longer we work together the more effective we will work as a team.
        • Do you have my plan yet?
          Each week after check in, you will receive any updates within 48 hours. Please do not text or call with questions regarding plan changes unless you have not heard from us within that timeframe. We have many athletes and the miscellaneous inquiries will only delay the timing in the delivery of your updated plan. In the event there is a competition during the weekend, your updated plan occasionally may be a day late as coaches attend all local shows. If your plan is a day late, just continue your current plan for one more day. This will not impact your results.
